Just a quick update…

A McDonald’s McBacon, larges fries, coffee and cola and a FREE chocolate doughnut. The price I paid for free wifi.

Yesterday I did my washing in Salou, but try as I might I could not find a cafe with wifi that was open. It’s not the first time I’ve visited this very pretty holiday destination, but December would not be my choice of month to visit as everything is just about closed up. Finding a laundromat in Spain is like finding gold, or so it has been for me and I had no problem taking an extended lunch break. This time there was no-one around to watch me strip off!

Riding the coast roads, it’s difficult to find a sleeping location where you are either away from the roads, or the railway. One of the things I will definitely take away from this trip is the ability to sleep through noise, especially dogs barking. I’m currently about 140 km away from Valencia, so I’ll be there in two days time, as by the time I get back on the road today it’ll be time to look for somewhere to camp for the night.

I’ll do a proper update when I get to Valencia, as I’ll probably take a day off to explore.

And a big thanks to those who have donated to my Justgiving page, let’s have a few more of you joining in or I’ll have no postcards to send out!
